“When you put on a luncheon or a banquet, don’t invite your friends, brothers, relatives, and rich neighbors.. Instead, invite the Poor, the Crippled, the Lame, and the Blind."

Constant Delight

Today I woke up at about 5:21am.. bundled up, put my hoodie on, and dashed to my car in the rain.
Drove to work, while listening to my daily word on the Christian station from the Briscoe's- my newly found people of God who Ive fell completely in love with their annointing!! Was so excited to hear the word of the day!
As I arrived to the house I nanny for, I went up to the room I stay in and prayed healing scriptures over Trevor (refer to my Facebook for details) and got the little one up for school.
On my way back home, as I was driving, listening to the radio, this one particular Christian station Ive listened to for years, is known for their over-killed commericals. Ill be lucky to hear one song in a 20 minute drive- no joke.
We thankfully just got two new Christian stations in the past few months!
So, I now can switch to the others when theres commericals.
Why? Because I want to hear some music, shoot!
This morning, like any other, a commercial came on, and as usual, I get irritated (like its anything new?!) and I quickly and angrily switched the channel..
But, something caught my attention this morning.
The commercial playing this time, was a Compassion International one.
I sponsor two childten already.. so whats the big deal, right?
As I changed the station, something struck my chord this time..
The thought of, "These children are real children, in other countries, countries you've been to, and others you havent yet. This very commercial is some of their ONLY hope in getting sponsored, so they wont be hungry, so they can know about Jesus, so they can go to school, so they can have a future".. "and youre changing the channel, because 'I just want music', like its a right."
It was as if I could see my selfish, overbearing, spoiled richly based diva coming out of me.. it was quite sobering actually.
Some of these people dont have any access to Christian literature, let alone Christian music, radio stations, BIBLES, books, churches.. they dont have the availability we do, to just go to church any day of the week, and freely worship, and talk about God, or just go wherever and hold a prayer meeting, without getting persectued or killed, risking their lives.. many would get disowned by their family.. how deep is that.
We have NO IDEA- we REALLY dont.
So, the next time, a commercial comes on, especially when it comes to Others.. I encouage you, to really appreciate that youre not the one needing that sponsorship. Pray for others..instead of changing the station so quickly for our own 'spiritual benefits'. Are we not Blessed to be a Blessing? We are called to freely give as we freely receive.

This afternoon I went to go read in a passage I have been studying in Isaiah 7 and 8.
I began to read it, and thought, wow, this is So good, I dont remember reading this yesterday or the day before??!
But I kept reading.. I soon realized I was reading in Proverbs 8!
Its So Beautiful..
I had to write it out for you!
Here we go:

Wisdom Calls for a Hearing

1 Listen as Wisdom calls out!
Hear as understanding raises her voice!
2 On the hilltop along the road,
she takes her stand at the crossroads.
3 By the gates at the entrance to the town,
on the road leading in, she cries aloud,
4 “I call to you, to all of you!
I raise my voice to all people.
5 You simple people, use good judgment.
You foolish people, show some understanding.
6 Listen to me! For I have important things to tell you.
Everything I say is right,
7 for I speak the truth
and detest every kind of deception.
8 My advice is wholesome.
There is nothing devious or crooked in it.
9 My words are plain to anyone with understanding,
clear to those with knowledge.
10 Choose my instruction rather than silver,
and knowledge rather than pure gold.
11 For wisdom is far more valuable than rubies.
Nothing you desire can compare with it.
12 “I, Wisdom, live together with good judgment.
I know where to discover knowledge and discernment.
13 All who fear the Lord will hate evil.
Therefore, I hate pride and arrogance,
corruption and perverse speech.
14 Common sense and success belong to me.
Insight and strength are mine.
15 Because of me, kings reign,
and rulers make just decrees.
16 Rulers lead with my help,
and nobles make righteous judgments.

17 “I love all who love me.
Those who search will surely find me.
18 I have riches and honor,
as well as enduring wealth and justice.
19 My gifts are better than gold, even the purest gold,
my wages better than sterling silver!
20 I walk in righteousness,
in paths of justice.
21 Those who love me inherit wealth.
I will fill their treasuries.

22 “The Lord formed me from the beginning,
before he created anything else.
23 I was appointed in ages past,
at the very first, before the earth began.
24 I was born before the oceans were created,
before the springs bubbled forth their waters.
25 Before the mountains were formed,
before the hills, I was born—
26 before he had made the earth and fields
and the first handfuls of soil.
27 I was there when he established the heavens,
when he drew the horizon on the oceans.
28 I was there when he set the clouds above,
when he established springs deep in the earth.
29 I was there when he set the limits of the seas,
so they would not spread beyond their boundaries.
And when he marked off the earth’s foundations,
30 I was the architect at his side.
I was his constant delight,
rejoicing always in his presence.
31 And how happy I was with the world he created;
how I rejoiced with the human family!

32 “And so, my children,[a] listen to me,
for all who follow my ways are joyful.
33 Listen to my instruction and be wise.
Don’t ignore it.
34 Joyful are those who listen to me,
watching for me daily at my gates,
waiting for me outside my home!
35 For whoever finds me finds life
and receives favor from the Lord.
36 But those who miss me injure themselves.
All who hate me love death.”

... The Fear of the LORD is the beginning of Wisdom..
Wisdom will multiply your days and add years to your life.

Status Quo

What would our Communities look like if we stepped out of the Status Quo?
Have you ever asked yourself, "What does God think about my City?" or "What is God already doing in my city?" or how about, "How can I Partner with the Holy Spirit in what He is Already doing in my City?"
These are the types of Questions I Challenge to "Ask" God right now, right where you're at.
In order to step into this, we must have a "Kingdom Perspective". You must Identify yourself as a "Kingdom Builder" and realize that it is Gods Will and always has been, to "Unify" His Body of Believers to come, and "Together"
1. Pray
2. Outreach Evangelism to the Lost, Hurting, and Backslidden world.

God deserves all the Glory at Center stage, and He has a Redemptive Plan since the beginning of time. His Word stands true even in this Century and it always Will.
Find Your Purpose on this Foundation and this Truth.
When we lay Submitted and Sold out at the feet of Jesus, Humbled and pour ourselves out Daily to what is important to Him in the power of Grace and Truth, we can be used for the Kingdom Purposes.
We operate in His overflow of Love and in Right Motive and Intentions. We realize its never been about us, its always been about Him and Serving the People wholeheartedly.
That may look different for everyone, but youre in that plan.. so "Ask" God (James 1:5-8) and "Expect" an Answer!
I pray youre encouraged by this message Today in what I like to call "Real Time" and by this video below:

Here is a Ministry called "Movein" its based out of Toronto, Canada and to the end of the globe. An Outreach of "Willing" People who are moving into a specific rough or suburban areas, into a building  complex  and begin to hold Prayer meetings once a week, strategically planning and implementing Outreaches to their Community!
Heres the goods to be completely Encouraged with:

The MoveIn Vision

John 1:14 says, “The Word [Jesus] became flesh and made his dwelling among us.” Or, as The Message paraphrases it, “The Word became flesh and blood, and moved into the neighborhood.”

MoveIn is about copying Jesus’ example (Phil. 2:5-7) by literally moving in to the neighbourhood.

We have discovered that something amazing happens when a group of Christians intentionally moves into a neighbourhood to pray (Acts 1:14) and be. In doing so, they have chosen to become part of the neighbourhood. Rather than visiting or serving and then going away, they will share in their neighbourhood’s joys (Rom. 12:15), and in its troubles (Rom. 8:17); and they will have an opportunity to be right in there as salt (Matt. 5:13) and light (Matt 5:14) - as the hands and feet of Christ (1 Cor. 12:27; Matt. 25:35-40) - with a cup of cold water in one hand (Mark 9:41) and the good news (Isa. 52:7) in the other.

We are encouraging all young Christians to ask themselves to move where they move on purpose and to challenge their default motivations. Sadly, it seems to have become the norm for Christians to move into a neighbourhood not because of the need or because of a calling to reach it, but because it is convenient. Furthermore, neighbourhoods that are inconvenient or unsafe are avoided.

It is time for Christians to move into neighbourhoods because they are not safe - to move into neighbourhoods that are messy and have high crime rates, high poverty rates, low standards of living, and a disproportionate representation of Christ.

“It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel where Christ was not known, so that I would not be building on someone else’s foundation.” Paul, Romans 15:20

It is also time for those who move into suburbs and other lower-needs neighbourhoods to do so on purpose - prayerfully, seriously, communally.

As we ‘move in’, we pray also that we would be part of the fulfillment of the prayer for more people to go where the “labourers are few” but the “harvest is plentiful” (Matt. 9:37) on the other side of the world - where people have never heard of Jesus, and where–in some cases–they live in slums and sleep in refuse that is physical, economic, social, emotional, environmental, or spiritual in nature.

We are moving in because Christ did it first (Eph. 5:1). We are praying for big things because we serve a big God (Psalm 8). We are confident that He will go before us (Isa. 45:2), that he will never leave us (Heb. 13:5-6), and that he will be with us right to the end (Matt 28:20). Through prayer and action, we pray that those we live among will experience Christ’s love themselves in a life-changing, life-giving, totally contagious kind of way (John 10:10) - for God’s glory.

“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.” 2 Corinthians 8:9

I Will Wait for you...

So it seemed, that it was cool, for everyone to be in a relationship but me..
So I took matters into my own hands… and ended up with him
Him who displayed the characteristics of a CHEATER, a LIAR, an ABUSER, & a THEIF
So.. why was I surprised when he broke into my heart?
I called 911, but I was cardiac arrested for aiding and abetting,
Cause it was ME who let him in…
Claiming we were “just friends”..
It was already decided for me by the first date, that even if he wasn’t!
I was gonna make him ‘The One’..
You know… I was tired of being alone,
And I simply made up in my mind, that it was about that time so I decided to drag him along for the ride,
Cause I was always the bridesmaid & never the bride..
A virgin in the physical, but mentally just a grown woman on the corner in heat!
Who was tired of the wait!
So I was gonna make him ‘The One’.
He had a… form of Godliness… but not much..
But hey, hey I can change him! So (honey) I’ll TAKE him, I mean he’s close… enough
Ready to sell my aorta for a quarter, not knowing the value of its use to me
Arties so clogged with MY will, it blocked HIS Will from flowing through me
So, I thank Christ that His blood pressure gave this heart an attack,
That flatlined my obscured vision, put me flat on my back
Through my ignorance He sawed,
Through my sternum He sawed & cracked open my chest
TO transplant Psalm 51:10
A new heart & a renewed right spirit within!
So now I fully understand,
Better yet I thoroughly comprehend,
How much I NEED to wait… for You.
See, the bad thing is that I knew he wasn’t you from the beginning..
Cause in the beginning was the Word
And he didn’t even sound or shine like Your Son
Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks,
And all he could whisper was sweet, empty nothings –
Which meant NOTHING.
He couldn’t even pray when I NEEDED him to
Asking him to fast would be absurd!
So forget about being cleansed & washed with water through the Word…
But I know You.. ♥
You were already praying for me
Even never having met me
Let me assure you, I will wait for you.
I will no longer date, socialize or communicate with carbon copies of you
To appease my boredom or to quench my thirstiness I have for attention
And short-lived compliments from ‘sorta kindas’.
You know…. He ‘sort kinda’ right, but ‘sorta kinda’ wrong?
His first name LUKE,
His last name WARM.
I, I won’t settle for false companionship
I won’t lay in the embrace of his arms,
Attempting to find some closeness,
But never feeling so far apart cause, I just wanna be held
Cause ♫”all I gotta do is Say” No!
NO more ‘almost sessions’ of ‘almost coming close’
Passing winks & buying drinks,
I’ma, I’ma, I’ma flirt!♫
Who flirts with the ideology of,
‘Can you just tell me how much I can get away with & still be saved?’
NO more.
I’ll stay in my bed… alone, and write poems, about how I will wait for you
He won’t even come close,
Our fingers won’t even interlock
We won’t even exchange breath
Cause I have thoughts that I’ve ‘saved as’ in a file that God has only equipped you to open.
I will no longer get weighted down,
From so-called friends & family talks,
About the concern for my biological clock
When I serve the Author of Time.
Who is NOT subject to time,
But I’M subject to Him,
He has the ability to STOP, FAST FORWARD, PAUSE, or REWIND at any given time…
So if we could role play,
You would be Abraham & I would be Sara
Or you can be Isaac & I can be Rebecca – a servant’s answered prayer
I am bone of your bone, flesh of your flesh,
Made up of your rib Adam!
And once we meet, like electrons
I will be bound to your nucleus, completely indivisible atom.
We even speak the same math: 1 + 1 + 1 = 3, which really equals 1 if you add Him.
We were all created in His image,
But you have the ability to reflect, project & even detect the Son.
If I were to explain what you looked like,
You would have to look like a star,
A son of the Son..
I would gain energy simply from the light on me.
I would need you , in order to complete my photosynthesis
I await your revelation, but once again from the genesis, I will wait for you ♥
And I will know you… because when you speak I will be reminded of Solomon’s wisdom,
Your ability to lead will remind me of Moses,
Your faith will remind me of Abraham,
Your confidence in God’s Word will remind me of Daniel,
Your inspiration will remind me of Paul,
Your heart for God will remind me of David,
Your attention to detail will remind me of Noah,
Your integrity will remind me of Joseph,
And your ability to abandon your own will, will remind me of the disciples,
But Your ability to love selflessly & unconditionally will remind me of Christ.
But I won’t need to identify you by any special Matthews or any special Marks,
Cause His word will be tatted all over your heart.
And you will know me, and you will find me,
Where… the boldness of Esther meets the warm closeness of Ruth.
Where the hospitality of Lydia is aligned with the submission of Mary,
Which is engulfed in the tears of a praying Hanna.
I will be the one, drenched in Proverbs 31… waiting for you.
But to my Father, my Father who has known me before I was birthed into this earth
Only if you should see fit…
I desire Your will above mine,
So even if you call me to a life of singleness,
My heart is content with YOU – the One who was sent.
YOU are the greatest love story ever told,
The greatest story ever known
You are forever my judge & I’m forever Your witness
And I pray that I’m always found on a mission about my Father’s business
Oh, I will always be Yours!
And I will always wait for You Lord, more than the watchmen wait for the morning…
More than the watchmen wait for the morning… I WILL WAIT
